PLAY BETTER TENNIS

I started playing tennis in the early 70s, then tennis and was an entirely different world than tennis today. My husband was a hunter, and my best friend's husband. We considered ourselves as "hunting widows". My husband told me flat that was not there to entertain me, so I entertain.

To avoid trouble, my friend and I decided to learn to play tennis. I bought each of us a $ 5.00 wooden racket, and we went to the tennis court. Our tennis shoes costs about as much as our tennis rackets, shorts and a t-shirt was worn tennis of the day, and we collected Coke bottles to buy our tennis balls. Getting time on the tennis courts at the time took more time than today. Everybody plays; pending a court (there was an abundance of outdoor and indoor courts where I have not lived), could take up to a couple of hours, but we were persistent, and we waited.

When we started playing, we hit balls all over the world. People play next to us was to be the most patient of people worldwide. Chasing balls was what we really done for a while, but soon we are where we could actually hit a rally. Then we are where we play for points. Then we started playing other people and, possibly, could very well. We joined a league that has used the system-wide challenge (you can challenge up to two people above you on the scale). I finally worked my way up the scale of number one (I think the person was difficult, I just got tired of me try, and let me win). Once I was number one, women do not want to play me, so I started playing men.

Since then I have moved several times, and over time, tennis fans diminished. People do not play tennis as they did. I, too, the type of Tennis abandon the scene for about 15 years. You simply could not find people to play as before.

I started playing full time around 1998. I found a few people who have played, but most of the time until then, I played simple. Now I play mostly doubles, my racket costs about $ 200.00 (and that was for sale), my tennis shoes costs about $ 50.00 (new, on sale), and now I wear "clothing tennis "(Try to find those for sale). In some areas, it costs about $ 25.00 an hour to play inside and some outdoor courts, or if you have to join a country club to play.

Make no mistake, there are some courts, but I have a problem mowing a court before I can play. In the area I live now, the college has wonderful public courts, as the college not using them, but they turn the lights off when the time comes. " After this time, you have to pay to play inside, and inside are the next city.
